Politians speaking with business

The Deloitte-BusinessNZ Election Conference is the political event for business and the economy.

Spokespeople from all major parties will outline their policies for business and the economy

Politicians will address clear questions that business wants answered, including:

  • What are your plans for returning New Zealand to strong economic growth?
  • Should New Zealand mine its coal and mineral resources?
  • How will you improve the Resource Management Act?
  • How will you fix the competitive disadvantage to NZ businesses from emissions trading?

Party Leaders and Party Spokespeople address the issues that business wants answered, around the economy, tax, employment law, emissions trading, infrastructure, skills and more….

Opportunity to put your questions and comments…panel discussions will allow you to put your questions or views to the 20 MPs with most influence over business. Politicians taking part include Prime Minister John Key, Phil Goff, Bill English, David Parker, David Cunliffe, Hekia Parata, Russel Norman and others, with master of ceremonies Sean Plunket.

Compare business views with those of the politicians…BusinessNZ will unveil the results of a survey of over a thousand businesses on key issues – party policies will be compared against the findings, to help you answer the question: Which parties will do most to improve the environment for business?
