Purpose

The survey is intended to help employers benchmark absence levels among their own employees and identify how best to boost attendance and enhance employee health and wellbeing. It also provides policy makers with views on occupational health practice and absence in the workplace, information that has often been lacking in this country. The survey also provides the business community with information on the overall health of their employees.
